Smalle’s team assisted to the Training Session from Fundación REPSOL
Fundación REPSOL – which is the corporate social responsibility branch of the Spanish energy company REPSOL – through the entrepreneurs fund organized another edition of the “Training Sessions” for the winners of the 1st and 2nd calls. Part of Smalle’s team assisted to these sessions representing the second call.
The workshops were held in REPSOL’s Technological Centre (CTR) located in Mostoles, Spain the 10, 11 and 12 of June. The objective of these gatherings is to support the entrepreneurs with training sessions in fields that are vital for the development of their start-ups. This time was the turn for the topic of Operations divided in two sessions, both of them taught by Albert Gibral from the Departments of Operations of IESE Business School, recognized university in Spain.
The topic of Supply Chain management was covered the first day were real time simulations were done by the entrepreneurs. The second day was focused on “Lean Management” where business cases were used to review this topic and the participants participated actively in a practical case through a game.
Simultaneous coexistence of the entrepreneurs from the first and second calls provided the perfect environment for a Q&A session were it was possible to share experiences, best practices, mistakes and visions about the immediate future of the incubated start-ups.
The second day also included the visit of the CTR and the detailed explanation of the research being performed by REPSOL. The laboratories of Exploration & Production and the motors one were also part of the visit. It was also possible to visit the battery charging solar station for cars.
